Evolve Your Strength & Physique with MaxxTOR

New science has recently emerged that further validates the positive effects of MaxxTOR. Plus, it’s not just for men. Both men and women can use MaxxTOR along with a sensible, nutritious diet and regular exercise to help boost strength, fat loss, lean muscle mass, and muscle size and achieve their fitness goals!

WHAT’S IN IT?
MaxxTOR is driven by the ingredient Mediator® Phosphatidic Acid, developed by Chemi Nutra. Phosphatidic Acid (PA) is one of the most powerful molecular activators of the “mammalian target of rapamycin” (otherwise known as mTOR) signaling pathway. The protein enzyme kinase mTOR is the master regulator of the signaling network that controls skeletal muscle growth (muscular hypertrophy) and strength gains. Research studies have shown that an elevation in PA activates the mTOR signaling induced by mechanical muscle activation (e.g., weightlifting).

The MaxxTOR formula, exclusively formulated by the research and development team at Max Muscle Nutrition has combined Mediator® Phosphatidic Acid with other key synergistic ingredients including leucine, Beta-Hydroxy-BetaMethylbutyrate (HMB), and vitamin D3 to deliver the most powerful mTOR signaling activator ever developed. MaxxTOR is the ONLY formula that combines these key ingredients in the correct, efficacious amounts.

Leucine is an essential branched-chain amino acid and possesses the most marked anabolic effect compared to any amino acid on triggering protein synthesis, muscle cell growth, and decreasing the rate of protein breakdown (degradation) in muscles. Leucine initiates the signaling of mTOR through upregulation of gene transcription and translation. Additionally, leucine has a sparing effect on muscle glycogen and decreases lactic acid production.

HMB is a metabolite of leucine. Numerous research studies have shown that HMB, in conjunction with resistance training, increases protein synthesis, strength gains, and lean body mass. HMB supports the integrity of muscle fibers and protects important contractile proteins in addition to enhancing recovery by attenuating exercise induced muscle damage in both trained and untrained individuals.

Vitamin D3 has been shown to play an important role on muscle mass and function and it enhances the stimulating effect of leucine and insulin on protein synthesis. Vitamin D3 sensitizes the Akt/mTOR-dependent pathway to the stimulating effect of leucine.

BACKED BY SCIENCE
In 2013, an 8-week study was conducted on fit men by the research team at the University of Tampa. The study incorporated Mediator® Phosphatidic Acid (PA) combined with strength training and ultimately revealed profound results. Subjects receiving PA all gained lean muscle mass, lost fat, saw an increase in barbell bench press strength, and made gains in their quads.

Because of this study, Max Muscle’s very own Chief Science Officer, Dr. Phil Harvey, developed MaxxTOR and Max Muscle customers taking it started seeing great results within two months.

But Dr. Phil wanted to find out for himself how this product stood up to rigorous scientific testing and he also wanted it proven safe and effective. Therefore, he, along with Dr. Guillermo Escalante, an assistant professor of kinesiology at California State University San Bernardino and two other colleagues came together to build upon the University of Tampa study by conducting their own 8-week double-blind, placebo-controlled study on MaxxTOR. Their study, however, included women. Test subjects were not allowed to take other supplements, had to weight train, and they had to adhere to a healthy diet overseen by a dietician.

According to Escalante, both men and women who were given Mediator® Phosphatidic Acid in the study improved their upper body strength, lower body strength, and lean body mass compared to the placebo.

The takeaway is this: adding MaxxTOR to a three-day per week resistance training program can positively impact lean body mass, fat loss, and strength than just exercise alone. Plus, because MaxxTOR contains the efficacious dose of Mediator® Phosphatidic Acid AND it contains the synergistic ingredients of vitamin D3, leucine, and HMB, it all adds up to even greater results.

LOVED BY MAX MUSCLE CUSTOMERS
But that’s not the end of it. The people are speaking, too! Take it from the satisfied, MaxxTOR users themselves. Priscilla Vargas, 34, of Dublin, CA is a prime example. Introduced to MaxxTOR by Nick Harrison of Max Muscle Pleasanton, she began using it right after her bikini competition. Her off season necessitated building more muscle and a strength-focused phase in her training. “By using MaxxTOR, I’ve gained more muscle, increased my strength, and lost body fat, so I’m happy with the results.”

Priscilla is a great example that women are prime candidates for MaxxTOR. “I would recommend MaxxTOR to women having a hard time building muscle,” she said. “I love the fact that it’s drug free!” One hundred percent natural gains are the best kind, especially when they work!

Priscilla isn’t a four-leaf clover either. Plenty of female customers from across the nation are saying they are happy with the results they are getting from MaxxTOR. “I LOVE MaxxTOR,” said Krista Hanson, 31, of Emeryville, CA, a customer at Max Muscle Walnut Creek. “This is one product I can’t live without. MaxxTOR gives me the energy and strength I need to demolish my workouts at the gym. I have made impressive gains in muscle size all while keeping my body fat low. This is one product I highly recommend!”

MaxxTOR elicits amazing results in men, too. Former Italian professional basketball player-turned-fitness-enthusiast Gabriele Brusamarello has transformed his physique while using MaxxTOR. “I wouldn’t have gained all the muscle mass and stayed this lean without MaxxTOR,” he said.

Gabriele follows a high-intensity strength training regimen where he is regularly hitting PRs (personal records) on lifts. “I can really tell the difference; the strength I get from MaxxTOR is amazing. All I can say is, it works!” he said.

HOW TO USE IT
“MaxxTOR is most effective when taken on training days doing resistance exercise,” said Dr. Phil. “The requirement is 750 mg of Phosphatidic Acid, which is the exact dose in MaxxTOR (5 caps). This dose can be taken all at once an hour before weight training or in divided doses (e.g., 3 caps before and 2 after).”

Whether your goal is to build strength, gain muscle, or increase lean body mass, or all three, MaxxTOR will allow you to defy your limits! As always, check with your physician before starting any new supplement or workout routine.

Quick Q & A with Guillermo and Dr. Phil:
Q: In a nutshell, can you tell us what the most important findings of this study were?
Guillermo: MaxxTOR is effective at increasing upper body strength, lower body strength, and muscle mass. Subject in the study even lost body fat without being on restricted calories or doing any cardio.

Q: The study showed that this product works well for both men and women, can you speak to the effectiveness of this product in women and men? Is it different? Does it work the same?
Guillermo: The effects of Maxxtor on men vs. women are very similar. Like the men in our study, the women improved their upper body strength, lower body strength, and lean body mass compared to the placebo. The women had a 30 percent increase in their bench press, a 41.9 percent increase in their leg press, a 3.9 percent increase in lean body mass, and a 4 percent decrease in body fat over the course of 8 weeks with Maxxtor and weight training

Q: What did this study do for Max Muscle and for this product?
Dr. Phil: Most sports nutrition companies do not test finished products to prove safety and efficacy. Max Muscle is committed to developing science-based and high quality products. Our recently published study in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition now validates both the safety and science of MaxxTOR. Both men and women can now be sure that this product is safe, works and free of any banned ingredient.
